Webfor secure and certiﬁed smart transportation system applications, multiple DLTs can be utilized and combined, so as to take the best of multiple worlds. This is the philosophy we followed in our approach. The aim of this work is to use DLTs to propose an infrastructure for smart transportation systems. Two main features are Webservices. Reducing the transportation demand reduces the use of scarce resources and produces less adverse impact on the environment and economy. The transportation system needs to be integrated and balanced to avoid any ‘transportation gaps’. This concept of ‘transportation gap’ was first introduced by Gabriel Bouladon8.
