The eye can see a basic spectrum of color—everything that can be seen in a rainbow of color. However, there are colors that range outside of a rainbow in the electromagnetic spectrum. WebColor sensors have an extra layer that sits below the micro lens, called a color filter, which absorbs undesired color wavelengths so that each pixel is sensitive to a specific color wavelength.
