WebSep 23, 2015 · I believe my engine with 25" shaft may be mounted too high because the prop will ventilate with little more than 1/4 trim, even worse with 1/4 tank of fuel and light load and/or turning. That takes into account your boat, the hp of your engine, your propeller. and the probable speed you will attain with that combo.
